Handmade Smiles: Making Cards with Friends - Age 55+
Enjoy a relaxing and creative time with friends while making beautiful handmade flower greeting cards. The instructor will prepare cards featuring a pre-designed pattern, and participants will add their own personal touch by coloring and decorating them. Whether creating cards for a special occasion or simply to brighten someone’s day, this program offers a wonderful opportunity to socialize, share creativity, and make meaningful keepsakes for friends. No artistic experience is needed—just bring your imagination and enjoy a time of friendship and fun.
Each participant will receive 4 Flower Cards to create and take home at the end of the program.
The instructors will provide the cards and coloring materials.
Class $5 | Material fee $12
**All proceed benefit the Prescott Community Center.**
All participants must register in advance to allow adequate preparation time. Registration Closes Tuesday, August 4th.

Nima Sumaria-Willan has worked as a software engineer for more than 35 years. She has designed and taught card making and scrapbooking for more than 25 years. She has a loyal following of many students.

After 43 years as a software engineer, I retired 10 years ago. I have always done crafts like crochet, bobbin lace, stitched cards, needlepoint, counted cross-stitch, embroidery, and beading, and in the past few years, have been making cards at my instructor's studio in Dracut. Her name is Nima Sumaria-Willan. We jointly designed this class.
