Adult Beginner Knitting: The Fundamentals
This class is for new and returning knitters alike. Students will learn foundational knitting skills, including how to cast on, knit and purl stitches, cast off, and read and follow a simple pattern while creating a beginner-friendly dishcloth project. Once comfortable with the basics, students may choose to continue their learning by making a simple scarf, hat, neck cowl/snood, or ear warmers. The instructor will provide patterns for all projects and all the materials.
The students can then continue their learning and create more projects in the Knitting for Adults: Basics and Beyond program.
