Prescott Rock Band - Ages 8-17

Ever wanted to be in a rock band? Now’s your chance.

Prescott Rock Band gives kids the chance to experience the excitement of playing in a real band—from learning songs and rehearsing together to developing stage presence and performing in front of an audience.

Students will be guided through the essentials of playing as a band, stage performance, and working together as a group by an instructor with professional performance experience ranging from Madison Square Garden to prime-time television.

Whether you play an instrument or sing, you’re invited to join the band and be part of this exciting musical adventure.

Prescott Rock Band will provide a variety of instruments, including: Electric Guitar, Drum Sets, and Keyboards.

Students are also welcome to bring their own instrument. All instruments are welcome!

When you register, simply let us know which instrument you play—or if you’ll be singing—so we can help place you in the band.

If you sing or play an instrument, join Prescott Rock Band and discover what it’s like to be part of a real band.

And there’s even a chance to take the stage! The band may have the opportunity to perform at a Prescott Open Mic Night this fall.

Prerequisite: Participants should be comfortable playing an instrument or singing at a basic level. No music-reading skills are required, but this program is not designed for those who are completely new to their instrument or singing.
