Realistic Charcoal Drawing
Master the dramatic, high-contrast medium of charcoal to create lifelike 3D forms. This course covers techniques from foundational to advanced, teaching you to map proportions, build tonal values, and master shading, blending, and texture to render realistic subjects, from still life to portrait.

Sahar Ghavimi
Instructor
Sahar Ghavimi is a highly educated and experienced artist and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, and a Master’s in Art Education. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Sahar has shared her passion for art in diverse settings, including her own art studio, museums, libraries, colleges, and public schools. Currently, she has served as a Graphic Design teacher at Nashua High School, where she continues to inspire and guide her students in creative expression.
