Mosaic Art Workshop
Discover the ancient art of creating beautiful designs using small, closely set pieces of stone, glass, or tile. This mosaic workshop generally covers everything from transferring patterns onto a substrate to cutting and shaping materials with nippers to the final step of grouting your finished masterpiece.
The instructor will provide several designs for the participants to choose from. Participants are welcome to create their own design too.
Sahar Ghavimi
Instructor
Sahar Ghavimi is a highly educated and experienced artist and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, and a Master’s in Art Education. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Sahar has shared her passion for art in diverse settings, including her own art studio, museums, libraries, colleges, and public schools. Currently, she has served as a Graphic Design teacher at Nashua High School, where she continues to inspire and guide her students in creative expression.
