Spring bird migration is one of nature’s greatest annual events. Billions of migratory birds leave their wintering grounds and travel to their northern habitats for food and breeding. Some make a quick stop in New England before heading farther north, while others raise their young here. We will observe these migrating birds as spring progresses during our walks. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking, as some terrain may be uneven. *IMPORTANT: The locations for the guided walks will be announced one week before each walk, matching the migration status. The currently listed locations for each walk are educated guesses but may change. You will be notified by our office, the instructor, and the website about the location for each walk.** Saturday, April 11, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Ayer Conservation, 73 Groton-Harvard Rd, Ayer, MAhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/iQkCAUut1YCNtFxs6 Saturday, Apr 25, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area Parking, Bolton, MA 01740Google Location: 42.4695880, -71.6551578https://maps.app.goo.gl/vzG4ux1JeyZVvLDLA Sunday, May 17, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Heald Street Orchard, Heald Street, Pepperell, MA 01463Google location: 42°40'15.6"N 71°37'20.3"Whttps://maps.app.goo.gl/Um5MZYVnfrucx4aG9 Saturday, May 23, 7:00-9:30 AMLOCATION: Nashua River Rail Trail - Broad Meadow Parking Lot, Broadmeadow Road, Groton, MA 01450https://maps.app.goo.gl/TDoRmchat4GijyM68 Saturday, Jun 6, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Dunstable Rural Land Trust, 1076 Main St, Dunstable, MA 01827https://maps.app.goo.gl/1qNxpmc3k5q8eioG7
