This class is for new and returning knitters alike. Students will learn foundational knitting skills, including how to cast on, knit and purl stitches, cast off, and read and follow a simple pattern while creating a beginner-friendly dishcloth project. Once comfortable with the basics, students may choose to continue their learning by making a simple scarf, hat, neck cowl/snood, or ear warmers. The instructor will provide patterns for all projects and all the materials. The students can then continue their learning and create more projects in the Knitting for Adults: Basics and Beyond program.
