Cheese and Wine Tasting: An Evening in Beaujolais, FranceFood & DrinkJoin us for an evening in Beaujolais, one of France’s most celebrated wine regions, as we explore its wines, cheeses, and culinary traditions. Led by our Shop Manager and Cheese Buyer, Meghan, alongside our Wine Manager, Eric, this intimate tasting will highlight their deep knowledge and passion for thoughtful pairings. Over approximately 90 minutes, guests will taste three wines paired with three cheeses and a charcuterie selection, while learning about the people, places, and traditions behind them. Meghan and Eric will guide you through Beaujolais' unique terroir, the character of its wines, regional cheesemaking, and how flavor, texture, and intensity come together to create a great pairing. Whether you’re already a Beaujolais enthusiast or simply love discovering new wines and cheeses, this tasting is designed to be educational, approachable, and—most importantly—delicious. Cookie Decorating for the HolidaysFood & DrinkGrab your friends and family for a festive evening of cookie decorating! Perfect for beginners and intermediate decorators alike, this class covers the basics of royal icing, including outlining, flooding, and “wet on wet” techniques with multiple holiday colors. Start on a practice sheet, then decorate your own holiday- and winter-themed cookies. All materials, cookies, and frostings are provided—just show up and enjoy the fun! Each student will leave with six beautifully decorated cookies and a recipe to try their new skills at home. Cookies are baked in a residential kitchen that handles milk, egg, soy, wheat, tree nut, peanut, and fish ingredients. Cookies contain wheat, milk, and egg. *The cookies we decorate in class may not be the cookies pictured above. Each person will craft Halloween designs on six pre-baked cupcakes using colorful frosting, piping bags, and festive toppings. The instructor will teach simple decorating techniques step by step, such as frosting swirls and simple Halloween designs. Focusing on creativity, confidence, and enjoyment, the session requires no prior baking or decorating experience. All supplies are provided, and every person will leave with six Halloween-themed cupcakes to take home and share with family and friends.
