Starting SoonBeginner YogaYogaYoga practice begins with attention to the body and breath and is intended for everyone as part of a healthy lifestyle. We will practice a gentle Hatha based yoga that uses a combination of foundational yoga poses with the longer holds of Yin yoga, all with a focus on alignment, body awareness and breath practices. Starting SoonGentle Yoga for Healing: Injury Prevention & RehabilitationYogaThis course is great for those who are recovering from an injury, or want to focus on injury prevention. We will focus on a combination of mobility, strength, and flexibility in the different joints in our bodies, to create more durability and resilience. This is a slow paced class, and great for those new to yoga, or those who want a gentle yet intentional class. Please bring a yoga mat to class. Yoga FusionYogaYoga Fusion is a Hatha type of yoga with focus on alignment, balance and breathing techniques in a slower paced flow than a vinyasa class. I generally include postures with longer holds from Yin yoga which makes it a fusion of Yin and Yang disciplines. I will incorporate music and poetry to enhance our shared experience together and strive to offer many options and accommodations for every body- I do believe yoga is for everyone! Wednesday classes are in-person at Prescott and Friday classes are online. *Registration prior to class is required.
