Knitting for Adults: Basics and Beyond

This class is for returning knitters and adventurous beginners who have learned the basics and want to continue building confidence and strengthening their knitting skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Patterns and instructions will be available for those interested in knitting in the round and exploring texture through combinations of knit, purl, and cable stitches.

The instructors will be happy to help with pattern selection appropriate to the skill level. If they are unsure about selecting a project, instructors will help find patterns and create a supply list that they are responsible to obtain.

Adventurous beginners who know how to knit and want to work on techniques such as knitting in the round or colorwork should bring their own patterns. Individuals should be prepared to pay for their own patterns. 

The knitters may choose to join the free Ravelry tool to share projects, ideas, and their collection of yarn, fiber, and tools via various components of the site.
