Join us for a night of creativity, chatter, and time with family or friends as we come together to paint a canvas! In this session, we will take our inspiration from the Autumn Season. We will create an acrylic paintings on canvas, learning and practicing new painting and brushwork techniques. Although this is taught step by step, there are plenty of opportunities for participants to add their own artistic flair. This workshop is suitable for kids and adults of all artistic abilities. This course is great for those who are recovering from an injury, or want to focus on injury prevention. We will focus on a combination of mobility, strength, and flexibility in the different joints in our bodies, to create more durability and resilience. This is a slow paced class, and great for those new to yoga, or those who want a gentle yet intentional class. Please bring a yoga mat to class. MG (Ret) Bruce Zukauskas will lead and facilitate a roundtable discussion on significant geopolitical issues and events occurring in today's complex world. The objective is to provide a forum for a better understanding of world events and also provide a means to discuss and learn about different viewpoints on world affairs. General Zukauskas will select his “Top 3 Issues or Events of the Day” prior to each session in order to help stimulate the discussion. For example, the “Top 3 Issues” for a session might be: the West’s continued support for the War in Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, or Iran’s next move in the Middle East. He will begin each session with a short background presentation for a better understanding of the topics. This class is perfect for little ones who enjoy moving! We will focus on balance, coordination, and creative movement through gymnastics, dance, and interactive play. It's a relaxed, inclusive class where littles can gain confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy themselves! Emma has been teaching movement to kids and adults for over a decade. Before that, she was a classroom teacher for grades K-3 and holds a master's degree in education. She loves sharing her passion for movement with others and gets so much joy from working with little kids!**Parents/guardians are required to stay for this program.**
