Will is one of the most accomplished chefs to come out of Groton, Massachusetts, and his return to his hometown marks an exciting new chapter for the local dining scene. Raised in a family deeply rooted in the local food community, Will learned the value of fresh, seasonal ingredients through his family’s beloved Herb Lyceum. He’ll discuss how those early experiences shaped his culinary philosophy, the lessons he learned along the way, what it takes to build a successful career in the restaurant industry, and his plans for the new restaurant, Puritan Tavern, in Groton. There will be time for Q&A, so please bring any questions you may have for Will. Will Gilson’s story is one of hometown roots, entrepreneurial success, and giving back. After building a celebrated culinary career in Cambridge, he is returning to invest in the community that shaped him, while preserving and expanding his family’s longstanding tradition of hospitality in Groton. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**

Embrace your holiday spirit with a cozy macramé workshop, perfect for crafting beautiful handmade ornaments for your home or as heartfelt gifts. In this beginner-friendly class, participants will learn basic macramé techniques while making two holiday ornaments: a Christmas Tree and an Angel. If time allows, participants might also create a Shooting Star ornament. All materials and step-by-step guidance are included. No prior experience is needed—just come ready to relax, create, and enjoy a fun seasonal craft experience. All materials will be provided. Participants may bring reading glasses if needed for detailed knot work.

This course is for new moms who want to rehab their bodies through intentional breath and movement, but can’t find the time with the busy schedule a newborn requires! Bring your baby (0-1) and learn some simple yet effective exercises you can do with your little one! All exercises will integrate our littles so they will be entertained and engaged while we are moving. This is a great course for moms who want to learn postnatal-specific exercises to strengthen the pelvic floor, reduce abdominal separation, strengthen the core, mobilize the hips, and strengthen the shoulders. You will leave this class feeling energized and ready to embrace life with a newborn! This is also a great opportunity to connect with other new moms in a friendly and supportive environment. Emma has been teaching yoga for 13 years, and pre- and postnatal yoga for 9 years. She has two kiddos aged 4 and 7 and loves helping moms feel confident in their bodies during this transformative stage into motherhood. Please bring a yoga mat, a towel or blanket to place the baby on, a water bottle, and wear something comfy and easy to move in.

Discover the ancient art of creating beautiful designs using small, closely set pieces of stone, glass, or tile. This mosaic workshop generally covers everything from transferring patterns onto a substrate to cutting and shaping materials with nippers to the final step of grouting your finished masterpiece. The instructor will provide several designs for the participants to choose from. Participants are welcome to create their own design too.

Join us for a fun and creative painting night at the Prescott Community Center, where you can sip wine and create a masterpiece! Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this relaxed event is the perfect way to unwind, express yourself, and connect with others. Come solo or bring friends—the atmosphere will be full of creativity, laughter, and great company. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase to make your evening even more enjoyable. The instructor will prepare high-quality paint and canvases. Participants do not need to bring materials, only curious and joyful minds. Workshop $30 | Material fee $15 Please note: Drinks and snacks are not included in the workshop fee but will be available for purchase during the event.

Paper mache classes teach you how to transform everyday, inexpensive materials like newspaper, glue, and flour into incredible 3D sculptures, masks, or functional home decor. You will learn to build wire or cardboard armatures, mix custom pastes or paper clay, master layering techniques, and finish projects with gesso and acrylic paints. The instructor will guide you through the entire creative process—from building the form and creating texture to painting and adding the final details. Every step is explained in detail, so you can confidently create your own unique piece from start to finish. Whether you’re new to papier-mâché or looking to refine your artistic skills, this course will help you develop techniques, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the medium. You’re welcome to bring papers, aluminum foil, cardboard, wire, or any additional materials for a costume size of a project.

Pilates with Props will use props such as the fitness circle, small balls, weights, and bands to intensify, support, and aid in muscle firing to build strength. The class is appropriate for all levels. You may bring a thick towel or workout blanket for additional support. If you have an issue the instructor needs to be sensitive about (such as recent surgery, health conditions, etc.), please let Courtney know before class. Please consult your doctor before attending class if you have any health conditions. Please bring a mat, towel, water bottle, and stretch band (optional).

Join the artists who love to paint outside! Whether you are a watercolor artist, pastelist, oil painter, or just want to work in your sketchbook, these plein air painting workshops are for you. Prescott teacher, Heather Barros, will be on hand to demonstrate and guide. Group interaction is encouraged! You may paint for as long or as short a time as you want.
